I’m Clémence, the creator of Learn English With Clémence (6.7M Instagram followers) and Learn French With Clémence (1.2M Instagram followers). My mission? To make language learning simple, fun, and accessible to everyone!

A Little About Me

I was born in Dunkirk, a coastal town in northern France, but grew up in the beautiful northwest region of Normandy. Today, I live in sunny Florida with my husband and our lovable dog, Leo.

My passion for languages began when I was just 14. I fell in love with English, but with no formal teacher to guide me, I decided to take charge of my own learning. Borrowing English books from the library, binge-watching TV shows and educational YouTube channels, learning English became my daily routine. Immersing myself in the language became my favorite hobby.

Over the next decade, I didn’t just become fluent in English—I also discovered powerful strategies for learning languages.

Turning Passion Into Purpose

I have always believed that the best teachers are those who truly understand the challenges of their students. As a self-taught language learner, I know firsthand the frustrations, obstacles, and triumphs that come with learning a new language.

At 21, I turned my passion into purpose. I launched Learn French With Clémence on Instagram, creating engaging videos to help others learn French. I also developed a comprehensive self-paced French course.

The success of that platform inspired me to expand. Two years later, I launched Learn English With Clémence, where I offer fun, practical lessons and self-paced courses for English learners around the globe.

Why I Do What I Do 

Language learning can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I know what it’s like to struggle, to feel stuck, and to wonder if you’re ever going to get there. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to break down those barriers.
